Santa Barbara ENT

Raquel was born and raised in the Bay Area and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S in Microbiology. She then went on to obtain her Masters to become a Physician’s Assistant (PA) at CSU Monterey Bay. She is delighted to be back in Santa Barbara practicing as a PA and excited about her specialty training that allows her to improve access to ENT care. 

As a native Spanish speaker, Raquel can provide care to Spanish speaking patients in their own language and with an understanding of their cultural backgrounds. She enjoys educating her patients on their medical illness and possible treatment options so that patients feel confident in the decisions they make regarding their health. Raquel believes in working together with her patients to help them achieve optimal health results in a way that works with their personal lifestyle and beliefs. In her free time you will find her hiking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and adventuring with her husband as well as their elderly chiweenie, Chaparrita and their wild Jack Russell mix, Lily.
