Dr. Fischer is a general Otolaryngologist who treats patients of all ages. Originally from Denver, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado. She then attended the University of Michigan Medical School on a full merit scholarship, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Fischer completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan, where she was awarded a grant to study facial nerve conditions.

Before joining Santa Barbara ENT in 2025, Dr. Fischer was an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, where she played a key role in launching a special training program for first-year Otolaryngology residents.

Dr. Fischer is passionate about helping patients fully understand their health. She always takes time to explain conditions and treatment options, and she works with each patient to find a plan that fits their needs. As a native Spanish speaker, she is especially dedicated to offering care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and understood.

Dr. Fischer is thrilled to be a part of the Santa Barbara community, where she lives with her husband, a professor at UCSB, and their daughter.
